Zen Center of New York City: Fire Lotus Temple is a refuge for spiritual practitioners in Brooklyn. The Temple offers a regular schedule of morning and evening zazen, Saturday retreats, meditation intensives, a Sunday Morning Program, and residential opportunities. Our abbot and teacher, Hojin Sensei, lives at the Temple, and guides the practice and training here.
ZCNYC is the city branch of the Mountains and Rivers Order, closely connected to our main house, Zen Mountain Monastery, in Mount Tremper, NY. We’re conveniently located to most major subway lines and the Atlantic Avenue train station.
